Bethel's Legacy
Bethel’s humble beginnings originated in 1957 but, the seeds were planted years before by those with unwavering commitment who were dedicated to serve The Lord and build the “House of God.”
A decade before Bethel broke ground at 5405 W. 1st Avenue, the congregation met at 37th & Gilpin St. under the name Radio Prayer League
Present at Bethel’s ground breaking in 1956 are S.H. Patterson, who founded the Radio Prayer League in 1928, along with Bethel’s builder, G.W. Belk Sr & other founding church members.
